Former Rep. JC Watts believes the GOP contest is now a "two-man race" between Newt Gingrich and Mitt Romney, and that Gingrich “does a better job of tapping in to the base, the foot soldiers."
Thus far, Gingrich has not received the blessings or endorsements from many of his former colleagues in Congress. Watts says this is because, in politics, "people often say that we bury the hatchet, but they also leave the handle hanging out."
The former Oklahoma Sooner quarterback weighed in on the Super Bowl and this year’s record viewership for the NFL. "There's still a little bit of gladiator in all of us," Watts said.
Who does he like in the big game? "I think the Giants probably have the edge there, but it's tough to bet against Tom Brady," he said.

There was a time when I listened to what JC Watts had to say. Now, I strongly believe that he, like far too many, just used his office on the hill as a stepping stone to millions of bucks. If you question this just have a look-see at his current finances.
To that you may say "big deal, they all do it." And to you I say "does that make it right?"
They are so corrupt that last week they had to pass a law stating that they would follow the law. WTF is that all about? Doesn't that give you reason to pause and think?
If JC Watts is supposed such a "great American", why did he turn his back on the United States and only play professional football in CANADA for 6 years? His entire professional football career was IN CANADA!
